In observance of the holidays, several of Lewiston’s municipal buildings will be closed. Information about municipal services during the holidays is listed below.
Please note that online services for items such as utility payments will be available 24/7 at www.lewistonmaine.gov/onlineservices, and emergency personnel will also be available 24/7.
Lewiston City Hall, 27 Pine Street, will be closed from 12 PM on Fri., Dec. 23, through Mon., Dec. 26. For the New Year’s holiday, City Hall will be closed on Mon., Jan 2, 2023.
Lewiston Public Library, 200 Lisbon Street, will be closed from 1 PM on Fri., Dec. 23, through Mon., Dec. 26. For the New Year’s holiday, the Library will be closed on Mon., Jan. 2, 2023.
Recreation Department, 65 Central Avenue, will be closed from 12:30 PM on Fri., Dec. 23, through Mon., Dec. 26. For the New Year’s holiday, Recreation will be closed on Monday, Jan. 2, 2023.
Solid Waste Facility, 420 River Road, will be closed on Mon., Dec. 26, and Mon., Jan. 2.
Curbside trash and recycling collection will take place as usual.
