photovoice - snowmobile facing trail ahead

“This picture was taken last year as I was out snowmobiling with my family. I gave it the name “Long Way Ahead” It shows the long trail ahead and you never know when it is going to come to an end. You’re not sure how hard or how easy it’ll be. You doubt if you can make it all that way and if it’ll be easier to just turn around. I have been through a lot and I've always turned to sports as a way of coping and a few years ago I got a snowmobile and it was another way for me to just get on and ride and not worry about anything else at that moment. I feel like everyone needs that one thing or many things that help them forget about everything that is going on. Also having a person or people who are there for you helps a lot. There are people all around you who are willing to listen and help you. They might be out of sight at the moment, they might not be there yet, but they’ll show up. Always make sure that no matter what happens, no matter how hard the journey was, how long it took to get there; the destination will be beautiful. It might take a long time; it might be hard to get there, but one day you’ll make it and you’ll look back and see how much you've been through and how strong it has made you as a person."
