Clear glass bottles and jars.

NO drinking glasses, pyrex, ceramics, light bulbs, window panes or colored glass.

ONLY

Milk jugs, laundry detergent, dishwashing liquid, bleach & some shampoo bottles.

NO plastic bags, motor oil containers, margarine tubs, covers or yogurt containers (injection molded)

TIN CANS

Tin cans, aerosol cans, clean paint cans, empty aluminum cans.

NO cans with food waste

CARDBOARD

Corrugated cardboard boxes, brown paper bags.

NO asian cardboard, box board, cereal boxes (recycle these with mixed paper).

NEWSPAPERS
& MAGAZINES

Newspapers, advertisements, magazines, telephone books, catalogs, paperback books.

NO plastic bags, mixed paper, hard cover books.

MIXED PAPER

Manila folders, flyers, Hard cover books, brochures, envelopes, junk mail, cards, post cards, calendars, wrapping paper (incl. tube), paperboard boxes (shoe, cereal, drink, etc.), milk cartons, paper towel tubes, egg cartons, etc.

NO plastic bags, soiled paper towels, diapers, napkins or plates.

OFFICE PAPER

White ledger, computer, copy & notebook paper, white envelopes w/o windows.

NO ring binders, carbon paper or envelopes with windows.

Recycled at the Solid Waste Facility

ASPHALT SHINGLES & SHEETROCK (SEASONAL)

Roofing shingles, tar paper.
Dry & Clean Sheetrock
(NO paint, NO wallpaper)

NO metal flashing, paper, wood shakes, trash or asbestos.

UNIVERSAL

Flourescent Lamps (any shape) Mercury containing products (i.e. switches, thermostats etc.)

Televisions, Computer Monitors, Flat Panel Display Devices, Desktop Printers, Video Game Consoles, Digital Picture Frames & Personal Computer Towers (Central Processing Units)

Please have all cans, glass, and plastic containers rinsed clean and empty of residue. Boxes must be flattened & cut into 3’x3’ squares. Newspaper & Magazines need to be placed together in the Blue Bin. Mixed Paper may be placed in a paper bag and placed in the Blue Bin. All paper & cardboard must be clean & dry (do not leave the Blue Bin curbside in the rain and/or snow). Do not place items so as to obstruct the sidewalk.
