New Firefighters at Lewiston Fire Department

PRESS RELEASE: June 15, 2006 Three new firefighters have been hired at the Lewiston Fire Department filling vacancies from recent retirements.
Dennis M. Eveson is Firefighter I qualified and is an EMT-B. He previously worked six years at the Lisbon Fire Department. William R. Farrell is Firefighter II qualified and is also an EMT-B. He has an Associates Degree in Fire Science and previously worked for the York Fire Department for six years. Matthew E. Wiers will obtain his Firefighter II qualification in July 2006 and is an EMT-B. He also has an Associates Degree in Fire Science. George Merrill, Assistant Fire Chief, noted,
"We look forward to the contributions of Dennis,
William, and Matthew on our team. Their experience and knowledge within the
fire prevention field will be another plus for the residents of Lewiston." |
