The Lewiston Recreation & Parks Department is offering a Youth Tennis Instruction Program that will run from June 22 - August 9, 2005. Anita Murphy, who is Coach of the Lewiston High School Girls Varsity Tennis Team, will serve as Program Director. Youth ages 4 - 18 years old may participate and will be assigned to a class depending on age & skill level.

All youth who have registered or wish to register are required to be at the Lewiston Memorial Armory, 65 Central Avenue, on Monday, June 20th, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 12 noon or 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. for class assignment/schedule. In addition, both Murphy and tennis instructors will be on hand to answer any questions that parents/guardians may have.

Recreation Superintendent Joline Banaitis notes, "This is a very popular program, and we anticipate a great turnout on June 20th."

The cost for registration, which includes a t-shirt, is $37 for Lewiston residents and $47 for non-residents.
