Renewals, as well as first time registrations for vehicles purchased through a Maine dealer, may be completed in the Treasury Office. Beginning August 1, 2012, we will start completing the registration process on all private sales on motor vehicles, campers, trailers, motorcycles and all trucks with a gross weight of up to 26,000 pds.
