If you are simply renewing you

If you have purchased a new or
used vehicle from a Maine licensed dealer, you may pay excise tax and complete
the registration process in this office. You may purchase new license plates or
transfer license plates from your other vehicle

Label is the Factory Window Sticker which is applied to the vehicle at time of
manufacture. It needs only to be provided when registering a new vehicle. |
Although it is not
required for Registration purposes, please be aware that Maine has a Motor Vehicle
Inspection Law for ALL Motor Vehicles and a requirement that you obtain a Maine Operators License
within 30 days of becoming a Maine resident.
