The City of Lewiston is requesting proposals from qualified consultant(s) to assess its current parking payment management system and recommend effective improvements to increase parking revenue, including expanding the parking meters program to other areas of the City. Recommendations will focus on the acquisition of new parking technology and the implementation of administrative best practices. Recommended technology should look at providing multiple payment methods including coins, smart cards, credit cards and cell phone transactions to users, provide an improved customer experience, streamline payment processing, and improve parking enforcement capacity. Recommended best practices should identify pricing adjustments, pricing structures, and enforcement methods that improve efficiency.
