Voters Can Obtain Absentee Ballot for 6/13 Special State Referendum Election

LEWISTON - The Special State Referendum Election will be held on Tuesday, June 13.  This election is for the purpose of voting on one Bond Issue question regarding economic development. 

Absentee ballots for this election are currently available from the City Clerk’s Office -   Registered voters needing an absentee ballot may call the City Clerk’s Office, may mail in an application form which can be downloaded from the City’s website, or can come into the City Clerk’s Office, located on the second floor of City Hall, 27 Pine Street.  Office hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 4:00 pm.  Voters may also order an absentee ballot on line through the State’s website at

On election day, Tuesday, June 13, all voting citywide will take place at Longley Elementary School at 145 Birch Street (across from the Androscoggin Bank Colisee). Polls will open at 7am and close at 8pm.
